Misc. Evan Updates...

Evan has advanced to the next level in his golf program. He is no longer a Little Linkster, but is now in the Target class.

Also Evan has moved up in his gymnastics. He will be in the 'big boy' class.

Evan starts his second season of soccer in a couple of weeks. He is so excited he can't stand it.

And finally, Evan announced to me yesterday that his friend/schoolmate Shelby and him are officially boyfriend and girlfriend. I thought I had a good eleven or twelve years before this announcement! ; )

Dinosaur Art!

I wanted to share these Evan drawings. I don't think

Evan has ever drawn any kind of animal before.

His preschool class has been learning about dinosaurs

and I guess it inspired him to expand his artistic

range ; )

Each year as your birthday draws closer, I revel in how you have grown. However I am also saddened by how quickly you are growing up. It's selfish. I know it is. Most of me wants you to always move forward and thrive. But there is that small part of my heart that wants you to stand still. Just for a little while...

What creativity looks like

table we have to make little pockets of space just

big enough for a plate and a glass.

Playhouse Update
